Vladimír Sobota, PhD

I am a computational cardiac electrophysiologist with a subspeciality in experimental cardiac electrophysiology. My research helps to uncover the mechanisms of arrhythmias, identify arrhythmogenic substrates, and develop novel antiarrhythmic therapies. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Physiology, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic, where I utilize three-dimensional computational models of the human heart to study the mechanisms of alcohol-induced arrhythmias.
